初セール

昨日まで家の中で過ごしていたので、初詣もまだなのですが（I haven't paid New Year's visit to a shrine yet)、今日両親の家に向かう途中で誘惑されて初セールへ(I did the first shopping at a sale)。３割引だったのでクリスマスから探していた手首のところが長くなった皮の手袋を(long gloves I have been looked for since last Christmas)ゲット。珍しくフィリピン製品だ(made in the Philippines)というところも決め手でした。皮は柔らかく、手首はボーダーのニットがたっぷり長いので(they are long enough to cover my wrists and some part of my arms)とっても暖かいです。中国製が市場を席巻する中(Chinese products monopolize the market)、たまに見かけるのはベトナム製の衣料品。頑張れ、フィリピン！(Go for it ! the Philippines !)神社仏閣に行くことだけが祈ることではないので、代わりに少し瞑想する時間をとりたいと思います(I'd like to take up meditation)。両親に顔を見せて(make an appearance at my parents' home)、三箇日(the first three days of a new year)が終わりました。
